Terms & Conditions
Njoydrive Travels and Logistic Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
These Driver Policies (“Policies”) govern the conduct, responsibilities, and obligations of drivers onboarded and operating through the Njoydrive mobile application (“App”). By registering, accepting trips, or providing services via the App, the driver agrees to comply with the terms stated herein.
1. Eligibility & Onboarding Requirements
To operate as a driver with Njoydrive, you must:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Hold a valid commercial driving license appropriate to the vehicle category
- Have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience
- Submit valid documents including:
- Driving License
- Aadhaar Card / PAN Card
- Address Proof
- Police Verification Certificate
- Medical Fitness Certificate (if applicable)
- Successfully complete Njoydrive’s verification and onboarding process
Njoydrive reserves the right to accept or reject any driver application without assigning a reason.
2. Driver Conduct & Professionalism
Drivers must:
- Maintain professional, courteous, and respectful behavior at all times
- Wear clean and appropriate attire, uniform as per Njoydrive branding standards
- Maintain personal hygiene by taking regular showers, washing uniform on regular basis by maintaining it clean, maintain appropriate hair style and trimmed / clean shaved beard.
- Follow all traffic rules and regulations
- Avoid any form of harassment, discrimination, or misconduct
- Avoid using mobile phone while driving and while the guest is inside the vehicle
- Refrain from abusive language or aggressive behavior toward customers, employees, or the public
Any violation may lead to immediate suspension or termination.
3. Safety & Compliance
Drivers are strictly required to:
- Drive responsibly and defensively
- Never operate a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or prohibited substances
- Ensure seat belts are worn by themselves and passengers
- Do not use mobile phone while driving and while the guest is inside the vehicle.
- Report accidents, breakdowns, or safety incidents immediately
- Cooperate with emergency services and Njoydrive support staff
Zero tolerance applies to drunk driving or reckless driving.
4. Vehicle Usage & Maintenance
Drivers must ensure:
- The vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy
- The vehicle is kept ready and clean after every trip so that it is made comfortable for the next passenger / guest
- Valid RC, Insurance, Fitness Certificate, and Permit are available at all times
- No unauthorized modifications are made to the vehicle
- No smoking or consumption of alcohol inside the vehicle
- Send vehicle photographs of exterior and interior status on daily basis before and after trip completion during end of the day
Drivers are responsible for fines, challans, or penalties arising from negligence or violations.
5. Trip Acceptance & Cancellations
- Drivers should accept trips responsibly and avoid frequent cancellations
- Repeated cancellations or refusal of assigned trips may attract penalties
- Drivers must reach pickup points on time
- Any delay must be informed to the customer and Njoydrive support immediately
6. Customer Interaction
Drivers shall:
- Follow trip instructions as provided in the App
- Not demand extra fares beyond what is displayed in the App
- Not engage in personal discussions or solicit tips
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information
Misuse of customer data is strictly prohibited.
7. Payments, Incentives & Deductions
- Earnings, incentives, and payment cycles will be communicated separately
- Deductions may apply for:
- Policy violations
- Customer complaints
- Damages caused due to negligence
- Njoydrive reserves the right to withhold payments in case of disputes or investigations
8. Use of Mobile App
Drivers must:
- Use the App only for authorized purposes
- Not misuse, manipulate, or attempt to bypass App features
- Maintain confidentiality of login credentials
- Ensure the App remains active during trips
Any attempt to misuse the App may result in permanent deactivation.
9. Suspension & Termination
Njoydrive may suspend or terminate a driver account without prior notice for:
- Breach of these policies
- Fraudulent activity
- Repeated customer complaints
- Criminal behavior or safety violations
- Non-compliance with legal or regulatory requirements
10. Legal Compliance
Drivers are independent service providers and are responsible for:
- Compliance with applicable Motor Vehicle Laws
- Payment of personal taxes and statutory obligations
- Any legal consequences arising from unlawful acts
Nothing in this policy creates an employer–employee relationship.
11. Limitation of Liability
Njoydrive shall not be liable for:
- Personal injuries or damages caused due to driver negligence
- Loss of personal belongings of drivers
- Legal issues arising from driver misconduct
12. Amendments
Njoydrive reserves the right to modify or update these policies at any time. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These policies shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and courts of Hyderabad, Telangana shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
14. Use of Background Location
Background location access is used to match drivers with nearby ride requests and ensure accurate navigation during trips.
It helps track trip progress, calculate fares correctly, and detect ride completion even when the app runs in the background.
Location data also supports safety, fraud prevention, and service quality improvements.
Background location is collected only when drivers are online or on an active trip and is securely protected.
